"Feels safe on my Mac"
Feels like they actually respect privacy. Trust them with my Mac, which says a lot.

"Fast enough, surprisingly"
The scan finished quickly overall. It only slowed down once, which I guess is better than turning the whole thing into a waiting game

"Refund came through, but the process was way more annoying than it needed to be"
I totally forgot my MacPaw subscription renewed, so I went to cancel it and get a refund. Finding the actual cancel page was kind of a hassle, like why is this not easier?! I ended up having to contact support, which was a little frustrating, but they did reply and I got my money back after a few days. So overall, it worked out, but I really wish the whole thing had been clearer and faster.

"Spotted things my old app somehow missed"
I ran this and it found two sketchy files quickly, with no fuss or confusing steps. it made me wonder what my old app was really doing all that time, or if it was just pretending everything was fine so I wouldn’t look too closely. Either way, this one handled it fast and I’m happy with it.

"Uninstaller cleaned up most of the leftover stuff"
I mainly used MacPaw for the uninstaller, it did a solid job. I picked the apps I wanted gone, and it also found a bunch of random leftover files you probably wouldn’t even know were sitting there.

I’m not giving it 5 stars because a couple of things still felt like they needed a manual check, and you’re never totally sure what’s safe to delete. But overall, it felt thorough enough and definitely saved me some time.

"I opened it because my storage kept..."
I opened it because my storage kept filling up and I had no idea why. The breakdown made it obvious what was taking up space, and from there it was easy to spot the junk I didn’t need. Took a lot less guessing than doing it manually

"Reliable and easy to trust"
I’ve been using their apps for a few months now, they’ve been really solid. No crashes, no weird slowdowns, nothing that made me second-guess it. It opens when I need it, does what it’s supposed to do, and that’s pretty much what I was hoping for. My instinct says it’s something I can trust so far.

"Smooth experience, just a little info-heavy"
I used MacPaw to get CleanMyMac, my first impression was that it felt straightforward. The site was easy to navigate, and I could kind of tell right away where I needed to go without overthinking it or clicking around a ton. My only reason for giving it 4 stars is that a few pages felt a bit packed with information, like my gut reaction was that they could’ve been slightly cleaner. But overall, it was a smooth experience and not confusing at all.

"I’ve been using MacPaw for a while now..."
I’ve been using MacPaw for a while now, and the thing I notice most is what it *doesn’t* do: it doesn’t constantly bother me. I really can’t stand apps that keep throwing notifications at me for every tiny thing, so I was half expecting that to get annoying.

So far, the alerts have been reasonable. I’ll usually only see something when there’s actually something to deal with or when a cleanup is finished. No random pop-ups every hour, no feeling like I’m fighting the app just to use my own Mac.
That alone makes a big difference for me. A lot of apps ruin the experience by being too pushy, but this one mostly stays out of the way. It’s not often I don’t have a complaint about notifications, so yeah, 5 stars from me...

"A Slightly Dramatic Setup Adventure"
I did manage to get it installed in the end, so it wasn’t a total disaster. But wow, the setup process had a few moments where I was staring at the screen like I’d missed some crucial plot twist. It worked fine overall, just a bit more confusing than I expected...

"I ran the scan on my Mac..."
I ran the scan on my Mac and it looked right to me. My quick way of judging these apps is simple: if it finds old stuff I actually recognize and doesn’t start yelling about random files, I trust it. This one found files I’d forgotten were even there and didn’t make any weird guesses like some other apps do. Happy with it overall.

"Not a bad app selection, but not without a few gaps"
I’ve been using Setapp for a bit, and I can’t say I don’t like the selection. There are plenty of handy apps, especially for cleaning up my Mac and getting writing stuff done. A few of them do feel kind of samey, so it’s not like there aren’t overlaps, but I still end up finding something new worth trying.

"I had a good experience using macpaw.com. The..."
I had a good experience using macpaw.com. The site is clean and easy to get around, and I didn’t have to waste time figuring out where things were. The buttons and sections are clear, everything feels smooth, and it’s not cluttered or overwhelming. It’s just a decent, well-thought-out design that makes things easier for people, which I really appreciate.

"My Mac had been running pretty…"
My Mac had been running slow for a while, and I wasn’t really sure if a cleanup would make much difference, but... after trying it, things do feel smoother. Apps seem to open faster now, and overall it just feels less frustrating to use. Glad I gave it a shot.

"Worth it in my experience"
For the price, this worked out well for me. It does what I needed it to do, when something is affordable and gets the job done, that usually feels like a win.

"Pretty easy to find my license"
I think I set this up sometime last month, or maybe a couple weeks before that, but either way it was painless. I was able to find my license quickly, and the account page was simple enough to figure out without much hassle.

"Just feels safe deleting stuff"
I used it to clear out some old files, and it warned me before deleting anything. Nothing important got removed, so I’m just happy with it.

"I did eventually get a reply from…"
I did eventually get a reply from support, but it took way longer than I expected. The most annoying part was getting transferred around before anyone actually helped me. By the time I got an answer, I was already frustrated...

"Solid duplicate finder... freed up some space"
I used macpaw mostly to track down duplicate files on my Mac, and it actually found more than I expected... old photos, repeat downloads, random stuff I’d completely forgotten about. Getting rid of the extras was straightforward too.
I’m giving it 4 stars because I still felt like I had to double-check a few files myself, which took a little time. But overall, it did what I needed and helped clean up my Mac a bit.

"Billing was clear tbh"
My subscription billing was easy enough to follow, and there weren’t any weird surprises or extra charges poppping up...
